Central Band of Cherokee, 'Equahiyi-Wasi'

call for treaty with Israel honoring 'Birthright'

LAWRENCEBURG, TN. – Genetic research linking the Cherokee with peoples of the Eastern Mediterranean and Israel has Principal Chief Joe “Sitting Owl” White exercising the newfound DNA muscle of the Central Band of Cherokee.

The chief has declared he will use treaty powers of the Central Band of Cherokee backed by the research of the Equahiyi-Wasi in support of a “biblical alternative contiguous Palestinian state that would honor ‘The Birthright of Joseph.’”

“Our DNA links us to this area and therefore to this problem.  Since a former presidential candidate announced last year that Judea-Samaria is “not reasonable” as a Palestinian state, what are the alternatives?  The Equahiyi-Wasi, (Abraham-Moses Project) has been researching this," the chief said.

“We have a proposal that could end the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.  I want an intertribal treaty with Israel," Sitting Owl said, adding he would shortly announce an “Ambassador-at-Large” to direct the Central Band’s foreign policy to the nations of Israel and the Middle East and to prepare and negotiate this treaty.  The Central Band also will be soliciting "Friends of the Birthright" to provide the funds for the Central Band's foreign ministry.

"The project members were shocked to realize that the Palestinian state proposed by the U.S. State Department would usurp the Birthright Jacob gave to his son, Joseph," Sitting Owl said.  "The prophet Obadiah wrote that when Jacob would return to these same possessions, he would find them occupied by the 'House of Esau.'  The State Department has been notified that we cannot approve of this tampering with THE Birthright. It is the blackest of black roads."

"Our treaty proposes an alternative alluded to by the 8th Century BCE prophet, Zechariah.  The Zechariah Plan would give the Palestinians a better state than that proposed, which would not usurp this Birthright yet to figure prominently in Last Days events concerning Israel.

The Equahiyi-Wasi, is a society of 13 Cherokee, mixed blood, and Jewish professionals, who are researching archaeological, cultural, historical, linguistic, spiritual and DNA links of the Cherokee and other Native tribes.
