A Nakwach to the 500 Nations

A Creek 'Torah Voice' on the Coast with 'Hidden Manna'

At a recent Passover celebration on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I was prodded by Grandfather to ask Pastor David Mathews, who had introduced me, whether he was "cool." When he realized I was not speaking of the air conditioning, he knew he was being "played." Instead, I called up his son, B.J., with whom I had earlier rehearsed the Apache Sundancers greeting:  A handslap, a fistknock followed by a hearty, "Hoa (Aho)."

(This was my greeting from the Sundancers specifically from Iglesia de Aztlan as their ambassador of "good will, good hopes and good vibes."

What David did not know then -- or maybe he did -- was that a special and somewhat similar handshake was in reserve for him and he was being played alright, but not by me.  Grandfather frequently has fun with his legitimate prophets.  Part of their training.

The handshake, which Pastor David Mathews and his entire congregation have been chosen by Grandfather to extend to the 500 Nations is not too different than the handslap B.J. and I exchanged, except the hand is slightly cupped.  It is the welcome of the Hopi Nakwach, hopefully in some way the Nakwach for which Natives have waited a very long time.

David is mixed Creek, like me Native inside but trapped in a white exterior (that gets red in the sun).  He is an extremely talented and perceptive speaker and host of the radio talk show, Torah to the Nations, on the Hebrew Nation Radio Network, an AM station in Salem, OR., with a wide Internet following.  With his wife, Brenda, and a solid, spiritually grounded supporting cast of elders and prayer warriors, he pastors Manna From Heaven Congregation.  (This man walks within a circle of elders).

The congregation meets at Escatawpa, MS., between Moss Point and Pascagoula on Interstate 10 (between the Miami airport and all parts West).  Hidden Manna is living up to its name and Grandfather is using the Interstate repairs over monotonous miles of polluted and devastated coastlands, to draw all kinds of Israelis there, sometimes mesmerized and travel-weary.    Orthodox Jews and rabbis, seeking an oasis between Miami and New Orleans -- although the closest motel requires David to walk them more than a mile on Shabbat past the Piggly Wiggly -- (just part of the training!) have spoken there to this special family of Joseph, prophetically located at the COASTLANDS.  For in the last days, the Prophet Isaiah wrote repeatedly the COASTLANDS should wait for Grandfather's TORAH.

The region was devastated first by Little Qatar (the prophetic name for Hurricane Katrina to reveal its connections to ... well we won't get into that here).  Then, it was in the path of the massive oil pollution caused when British Petroleum made our Earth Mother bleed out of the oil conglomerate's greed.  You would think one should get prepared to leave this region, and that is what this man is teaching, by teaching the Torah of Moses at the COASTLANDS.

Hidden Manna also has been the chosen site for the Great Spirit to teach Ephraim about the Torah foundation of its covenant, which Ephraim had never known before even in the some 2000 years it has spent in the Church.  For those Ephraimites who read this and who have never made the connection between the Book of the Covenant and Blood of the Covenant at Sinai with the body and blood of Jesus at his last Passover seder, and how this obligates you to allow Grandfather to "write the Torah on your heart,"  I strongly encourage you to obtain either the audio or DVD "Redeeming the Passover Seder" or at least look at the link indexed on this website.

David could not and would not say this of himself.  Grandfather would not allow it.  But I am to announce it.  David is a "navi" or Hebrew prophet. He is not the anointed One (or "ones" if you believe as do the mystical sages in two "messiahs" in the Last Days).  But he is a prophet to Israel in exile and a voice of reconciliation for Ephraim to both Native M'nashe and the Jewish people.

The evidence linking Mongolian DNA to Israelite East M'nashe means he may be speaking to Native peoples as well as the Ephraimites.  But he is a prophet.  I've stated it three times purposefully.

The Great Spirit has confirmed this each time I have looked through his eyes, since he contacted me in 2006, shortly before the death of my father, z''l.  I have also "seen" it in his words, insights and perceptions and even in his inspired poetry and "heard" it by watching how and when his sudden headaches and other clues from Grandfather occur. He has no prejudice or guile.  NONE!  His wife, my adopted "sister" is a "Sister" and possibly the mixture of another Nation.  I am privileged to be an "uncle" to their children who will always BE "Jays and Joys" to Uncle Joe (private joke probably only they will understand).

But this man speaks Truth. When he is unsure, he says so, or states it as a "personal belief."  He is not a DAN (Judge).  He is not judgmental.  That would be a dangerous combination in a prophet.  But he knows no two sets of moccasins fit different feet the same way and some souls require less improvement than others in this life. The fruits of love, Joy, peace, long-suffering, etc., are abundant in his family, my adopted family, since I became an orphan.  One fruit is especially evident.  It is something Moses was known for:  Meekness.  (Like David, he probably called everyone he met the Hebrew equivalent of  "sir" or "ma'am").  David's answers are "yes sir, and "no sir" or "ma'am" as are those of his wife and children). Where do you hear that anymore?

It is because David and Hidden Manna are the "real thing" that when I am a guest on his program, at his home, or at the congregation, the Great Spirit gets Grandfather's message across.

Further, David is inviting Native chieftains and council seats, prophets, grandmothers, clan mothers, medicine men etc., to make contact and is making his program a conduit for what they have to say to Ephraim.  I encourage this to especially reinforce what our Earth Mother is wanting ... a covenant of Shalom from the pollution, industrial cesspools, and personal and corporate latrines that "disconnected" Ephraim has caused.

That is where I felt the Great Spirit impressed me to leave it with David earlier.  As all of Israel had to take a first step toward the Torah, observing the Shabbat, before they could proceed in the wilderness, so the descendants of the Ephraimite settlers wanting to reconcile and reunite with indigenous M'nashe, must first reconcile and rectify with our  LIVING Earth Mother.  More about this is found in the special message at the top of the index page.

As the House of Judah was told of Ephraim, so long as Ephraim clings to his idols, leave him alone, the Earth Mother is crying in inipi, (the NT says "groaning") awaiting the manifestation of the "sons of God."  This implies a covenant in which our Earth Mother hopes for Her own rescue or salvation!  Ephraim must recognize Her sanctity and give Her the respect of her Torah mandated rests, and live in Covenant with her as do indigenous people who are "attached" or She together with the Sky Dragons (Heavens) will spew them out.  In the Last Days, this witness of Heaven and Earth recorded in the Song of Moses rests on Israel's observance of the Torah.

For the time being, his program, Torah to the Nations and El Huerfano will be the most timely if not only sources for Eldersgate American Indian Council to "speak to the Nations" what we -- elders, chieftains, sundancers, prophets, ambassadors and supporting staff and grandmothers hear from Grandfather.  I apologize that I must charge a fee to subscribe to El Huerfano, the online publication starting in July 2011.  Hopefully this can be eliminated at some time in the future.

Thank you for welcoming my brothers and sisters -- David Mathews and his circle of Elders including Wendel Scott and Scottie Davis -- before the chieftains, elders and council fires of all 500 Nations. Their prayers and David's voice are the pinpoint spearheading this reconciliation as they are TRUE Ephraimites with the heart of their father, Joseph for his son, and their brother, M'nashe.
