in West Hollywood, CA
A special screening of "The People of Peace: A Message from the Hopi," was aired at the Macha Theatre in West Hollywood, CA., on July 7, 2010.
The recently completed documentary is currently being promoted for airing at film festivals worldwide, but a current schedule was unavailable from co-producers Andrew Feder and Teresa Crespo-hartendorp of Los Angeles.
The film features interviews with the Gashwarza family who reside at Old Oraibi on Third Mesa. Old Oraibi and Hotevilla both on Third Mesa, are the two oldest continuously occupied villages in the continental U.S.
The Gashwarza family relates the testimony of the late chief Mike Gashwarza, that some of the Hopi clans hail from Jerusalem.
